Title: Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Job Description:

SBG Hospitality attributes much of our success to the strength of our event marketing efforts, and to the strong partnerships we’ve created with event sponsors. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing and sales coordinator.

We are looking to hire the perfect person for the job. We are open to the position being part time or full time. Pay is dependent on experience.

 


Responsibilities:

Marketing:

    • Create social media ad content for our hired ad management team (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok)

    • Respond to social media questions/handle all social media customer service

    • Create scheduled email campaigns for each event using Constant Contact

    • Manage relationships and create new and exciting partnerships with local influencers

    • Manage website maintenance on square space and Eventbrite for each event

    • Create monthly blog posts

    • Coordinate the creation of all graphic design with our hired graphic design contractors (flyers, print ads, digital ads, websites, etc.)

    • Grow the SBG email database

    • Increase followers on SBG Instagram and facebook by implementing new strategies and plans

    • Add all events to DFW event calendars

    • Distribute marketing print collateral to local businesses

    • Coordinate receiving marketing materials from event sponsors

    • Create a checklist for sponsor promises & fulfill each marketing promise

    • Coordinate marketing efforts with all event media partners and nurture media relations

    • Coordinate media trade partnerships

    • Grass root PR; Attending monthly chamber meetings and other networking events to create long lasting relationships in DFW.

Sales:

    • Create proposals for potential sponsors using Canva (instructions passed down to you for each proposal)

    • Update sponsorship decks as needed using Canva

    • Create and schedule a mass email campaign to sponsor database using constant contact

    • Make 50 weekly outgoing calls to potential or existing partners (warm and cold calls)

    • Send personal email communication regarding event sponsorship opportunities to potential or existing partners on behalf of Sponsorship Director

    • Misc. tasks as needed to contribute to the success of SBG hospitality

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or more is required (Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or equivalent a plus)

  • Creative professional with 2+ years of event marketing experience

  • Robust Experience with various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

  • An eye for detail and aesthetic event marketing

  • Experience with Constant Contact or other equivalent CRM

  • Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others.

  • Must be self-motivated and take ownership in the role

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an interest in building community

  • Accomplished ability with Microsoft Word, Excel and Canva

  • Must be a multitasking extraordinaire who does not get overwhelmed easily

  • Genuine excitement for the position

  • Ability to attend and work the events a plus but not a requirement
